UPCOMING PROJECTS:

Realizing our self-imposed hiatus from performing is most likely permanent, Debris is still concentrating on getting several recent recordings released on CD. And you can help! We’re looking for a sympathetic record label with good connections and distribution (ha! dream on...) interested in putting out the next installment(s) in the Debris discography. Currently we have two projects in the can:

Septet Music with special guests Herb Robertson and Michael Snow—this 1997 studio recording features Debris tackling some of its densest and thorniest compositions to date, with the assistance of avant-jazz journeyman Herb Robertson on brass and New England ubermensch Michael Snow on violin. Five brand new compositions, plus new arrangements of “Flex Foot, Stab Self Twice” and “Observed In The Breach Rather Than In The Keeping”. This recording also marks the final Debris performance of guitarist/founder Arthor Weinstein.

The Road To Hell—this live recording documents our June 1998 tour, and features performances from clubs and concerts in Washington DC, Pittsburgh PA, and Baltimore MD. Joyous, irreverent, loose, nimble, road-weary renditions of all brand new compositions!
